His legendary brick fa\u00e7ades, that distinctive <em>Rohbau<\/em> style, became synonymous with strength and character. Through those massive gates in \u010crnomerec passed thousands of soldiers from the former military district, and among them, in those very same buildings, Miroslav Krle\u017ea also spent his days <strong>.<\/strong>Right here, in the shadow of Waidmann\u2019s architecture, that the refined, literary spirit of Zagreb was born \u2014 the very spirit that can still be felt in the air today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Secret Beneath the Foundations: The Invisible Guardians of the City<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A little-known fact lies hidden deep beneath the asphalt. Beneath and around this block run forgotten branches of the stream. <strong>\u010crnomerec and Kuni\u0161\u010dak<\/strong>These once-open watercourses were the greatest challenge for early builders. We also removed over 430 m\u00b3 of construction debris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are exceptionally proud that it was our team who signed off on returning this beauty to its golden age. In restoring it, we were also restoring the memory of the City of Zagreb. We ensured that Krle\u017ea\u2019s Zagreb would continue to live on in a modern form.
